Joe is a folk singer/songwriter originally from England who graduated with a songwriting degree from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Known for his personal, intricately crafted lyrics and deft guitar playing, Joe is rapidly emerging as a prominent artist, finding success opening for international touring acts like The Hunts, Davina and the Vagabonds, and Parker Millsap. He released the Empty EP in March 2014 to strong reviews from local music websites in Boston. Joe released his first full length album, Brighter Moons, in July 2015 after a successful Kickstarter campaign in which he raised over $12,000. Joe followed with the release of Headwaters EP in 2016, his second full length album The Person I Admire in 2017, and the EP Something Louder in 2018, which was featured in NPR's All Songs Considered blog. Following that EP, Joe released his third full length album A Bigger Fire in 2019, promoting it with a cross-country tour during which he found out that his songs were added to an official Spotify editorial playlist. Joe's newest release It's What We Give comes out on June 5th, and a song from that record, "People in New York," has already been featured on NPR with an accompanying live video. Joe has toured the USA six times, and lives in New York City.
